Taguantar

Taguantar is on the north coast of Margarita Island.  This is a relatively quiet and under developed area.  But there are plans to build high end resort complexes making this a very up and coming location.  There are fantastic sea views with stunning sunsets, as well as beautiful mountain landscapes.

The local area of Taguantar has fabulous waterside restaurants.  It’s just 5 minutes to the nearby fishing village of Juan Griego which has wonderful restaurants with seafood specialities.  The airport is less than ten minutes away and larger tourist areas with beaches can be reached in just over 5 minutes.  The ferry terminal is 15 minutes travel.  In 25 minutes you can reach Porlamar.  Porlamar is one of the main commercial areas of the island where you will find shopping centres.
